Dungeon Explorer
Unity Adventure Prototype
Dungeon Explorer is a Unity adventure/puzzle prototype developed in roughly one week following a controller design course. In this top‑down game the player explores dungeons while the camera is indirectly controlled through map triggers, allowing for perspective‑based puzzles such as hidden doors revealed from certain angles. I implemented basic enemy AI with room‑based aggro and pursuit, created bosses with stronger stats, and designed a camera system that tracks the player and transitions between trigger zones to craft puzzles and maintain a 3/4 top‑down perspective. The project served as a quick exercise in rapid prototyping and AI design.

Dynamic Camera System
Implemented a trigger-based camera system that smoothly transitions angles to reveal perspective-based secrets.
Highlights
- Developed most of the game in one week after controller coursework.
- Implemented basic enemy AI with room‑based aggro and bosses.

Project Timeline
This project was a one-week solo programming prototype following a course on controller design (actual dev time: 2-3 days). I created a controller allowing 3D movement using camera perspective.
I programmed basic AI that attacks upon room entry and pursues through the dungeon. 'Boss' enemies have improved stats and distinct visuals.
The camera always looks at the player and shifts when triggering specific zones, allowing Level Designers to create perspective-based puzzles, like hidden doors.
Finally, the 3/4 top-down camera provides a room overview while concealing the rest of the dungeon using black planes.
